6 Literary Journals & Presses Accepting Poetry Submissions
Hey writers! I’ve compiled a list of literary presses that are currently open for full manuscript submissions. If the deadline has passed, you can bookmark it for later. Although we all have different goals and ambitions as writers, publication is one major way to get your voice out there. If you are a seasoned poet, you might have a chapbook or full collection length project to submit. A full manuscript is usually between 60 - 150 pages. If you want to start by submitting individual poems or groups of poems to literary journals, that’s a great place to start. Don’t forget, Spoken Black Girl Magazine is currently open for submissions. The deadline is August 31st. Visit our Submit page for more information.

We have a passion for undiscovered poets seeking to publish their first book. Whether this is your first or your fourteenth book, we're excited to engage with you. Manuscripts should be approximately 80-120 pages in length. You can submit your manuscripts in Word or PDF format. No reading fees are required.
Lily Poetry Review
This is an open call in solidarity with Black Lives Matter. To that end we at Lily want you to know that our doors are wide open . We seek to promote and provide space for Black poets and look forward to reading your work. This form is always open and will remain open. This is NOT a contest.
