Spoken Black Girl is open to book submissions from authors interested in self-publishing. We are here to streamline the process of self-publishing and offer support to authors along their journeys. Most of all, we offer coaching, accountability, and marketing support. When we accept your project, it’s with the intent of seeing your book dreams come true! You will retain the copyright and full control of your royalties. It is our mission to set our writers up for success. We are currently looking for the following genres: Nonfiction, Self-help, Wellness, Inspiration, Memoir, Poetry, Contemporary Fiction, Literary Fiction, YA, Romance, Fantasy, Afro-Futurism, Children’s Books/Picture Books

Spoken Black Girl Founder, Rowana Abbensetts-Dobson will lead you through every step of the self-publishing process from cover design to editing, publishing, and distribution. We set each author up for success by positioning you in front of with the right audience and advising on marketing strategies for success.
