Desemba is a creative residing just outside of Detroit, MI. This multidisciplinary artist is the owner, illustrator and designer behind the online boutique Graphite and Sage, a wearable art brand where she showcases her art on silk scarves, silky knit peignoirs and fine art prints. 

As a freelance artist her illustrations are colorful, soulful, and are inspired by the sacred practices exercised by Black women. Her work has been commissioned for several affirmation card decks which showcase her devotion to affirming and celebrating Black beauty and wellness. Her goal is to create art that brings joy, moves your soul, and assists black women and girls in feeling seen.
