Global Networking for Women of Color: The Collectively Conversation Series

Every ambitious woman needs a strong network to grow with, and now, New York-based startup, Black Pearl Collective, is making it easier than ever to find your crew! Founder, Johanne Civil, is curating a series of events throughout the summer designed to help female founders and entrepreneurs gain the knowledge necessary to start a business, develop a brand, gain funding, and learn what it takes to turn your passion into the business of your dreams.

Saturday, May 26, 2018, marked the inaugural event, Collectively Beautiful, which featured female beauty brand founders sharing their journeys and challenges from idea to execution. The panels were followed by the first ever Pearl Market, where guests were able to shop women and women of color owned beauty products. The summer of cocktails and conversation continues with Collectively Savvy, which will feature a panel of experts giving tips on how to fund your next big idea.

The fun and festivities will lead up to the launch of the Black Pearl Collective App. Connecting with fellow girl bosses is about to get as simple as a swipe on your smartphone! Sign up to get notified when the app launches. Don’t forget to check out Black Pearl Collective to learn more about the Collectively Conversation event series.
